This book started out SO GOOD. Pia was blackmailed into stealing from a dragon's hoard, so she does and then plans on going on the run because she knows the dragon will be after her. Dragon is intrigued by the woman who stole from him and is determined to find her, even if that means tracking her down into enemy territory. I loved all of the action and heat in the first 180 pages of this book, but once that action was over and they went back to Dragos's tower, it was pretty boring and i ...more

What an introduction to the world of the Elder Races. I can immediately see that there are a lot of other character stories to unpack in this world, Dragon Bound was a great introduction.
Pia and Dragos have electric chemistry as they work to figure out what they mean to each other.
