The Accidental Werewolf is the first installment in the Accidental Friends series by the hilarious Dakota Cassidy.
I've read this book a while back but forgot most of the story so I re-read it and wondered how I could forget. It's absolutely
genius. It's mostly what you'd call Chick-lit but it's almost paranormal.. so I'll go ahead and label it paranormal/chick-lit.

Marty is the protagonist of the story and it's told in the first person, but we also get good amount of the first person view on

My thoughts...Hooowwwllll. What a fun story. The heroine, Marty Andrews is a very determined women who winds up in a very unusual situation. Her focus is achieving success in the door-to-door company Betty-Sue Cosmetics. I really liked Marty because she could admit her flaws, she was very goal oriented and didn't look for the easy way out. Then a drool-worthy man shows up at her door claiming that he accidentally bit Marty. And since he's a werewolf, she is now, too. T

I do love humor PNR and so I just knew I would enjoy this book. Plus, if anyone has the pleasure of reading Dakota Cassidy's social media posts, you knew she had a great sense of humor. I was not disappointed. :)

In the beginning I admit I did worry. Marty was someone who, at first glance, could really get on my nerves. She seemed shallow and a bit too pert and perfect. However, that lasted for about half a second before we really started to get to know Marty. While it did take a while to know he

This was a laugh a minute! I laughed from the beginning of this book until the end. Marty's two Bobbie Sue trainees, Nina and Wanda, definitely added major laughs to the overall story. The story progresses pretty quickly.

It starts out with with Marty being accidentally bitten by Keegan while he's in his wolf form. Keegan was lurking in an ally and couldn't resist her smell, thus causing him to get caught, and the bite taking place. This all happens within the first couple of pages, so there is n
