Reading A Rush Of Wings is like riding the biggest and fastest roller coaster in the world:you know you want out from the moment you get on,you're constantly terrified,million emotions and thoughts go through your heart and brain,but you know deep down that in the end you're gonna completely and full heartedly enjoy it.

I picked up this book solely based on the reviews by other readers. So when I began I had high hopes for the story, but I was confused for the first couple of chapters. And if it weren't for the Glossary, I would have put the book down. I really couldn't figure out what was going on with the Cajun/French/Elohim language. But I didn't give up and I'm glad. It is an incredible story, very layered, great characters and a mystery like I have never read before. It is not your standard Vamp ...more

If I could say one statement about A Rush of Wings is would be: "There is something for everybody." Many of us who read within the UF and PNR genre love to have more. and A Rush of Wings is just that.
There is suspense as a serial killer is on the loose, the Cross Country Killer. Adrian treats her readers to the inside working of the CCK's mind- not my most favorite (seems quite real and I prefer fantasy) but very thorough.

I have really mixed feelings about this book.There were things that i really liked and other that really ruined it for me.
