What Members Thought
The quality of the writing was excellent, but I came away with such negative feelings about the Ramona character that I couldn't give the book a higher rating. I think the problem was that she was so focused on getting the attention of her sister and her parents that she would do ANYTHING to get it, especially misbehave. When she wasn't deliberately misbehaving, she was acting with amazingly little thought even for her age, which seemed odd. Maybe I'm just too used to "modern" preschoolers, but
