What Members Thought
While this book is memoir-ish, it is not a memoir. Things that are connected to the author's own experiences are told, but in the form of stories, with lots of stuff made up. Oddly, some reviewers have faulted her for this, even though it's pretty clearly stated. I mean, why not use incidents from your own life and shape a story around them? I don't see a problem with that, unless you're trying to sell the book as a factual autobiography.
