This first book in a series was based on a webcomic that I had not read until finding the book. I think that the version in book form was cleaned up and improved a little, artistically, but both were good.
In the case of the book, readers quickly figure out why the stuffie on the front cover looks so grumpy, and he has a perfectly good reason, but it's his own fault.
