Have tissues ready - beautifully written
I don't know quite what I was expecting when I picked this up, at the recommendation of a book group, but it wasn't quite like anything else. The title comes from a sentence fragment, and the plot also revolves around a different sentence fragment, so in context that made sense.
If you read this, be prepared for a bit of an emotional roller coaster, and have a hanky nearby for the sad parts, but it's written really, really well.
