I'm just as surprised as you are. I was not expecting to give this one 5 stars. And yet.. here we are.

I loved the writing in this one so much. There were moments that literally made me stop and reread because of the beauty of observation about the world. I don't do that often, and certainly not more than once or twice in a book, but this one... took my breath away.

This book will have you laughing from the first paragraph, but the laughter will be quickly squelched when Margot, age 19, gets pregnant from her affair with her college English professor. This heartfelt read will have you turning the pages to find out if Margo can handle life with a baby. With all her ups and downs, will she eventually land on her feet?
