I love Josie Silver, but of her two wintry books (this and One Day in December), I prefer the latter. This was a good holiday romance filled with cozy descriptions of NYC during Christmastime and sweet depictions of a local restaurant, but I found myself really disappointed with many of the main character’s decisions and felt that the majority of the novel’s problems could’ve been resolved with an early conversation. Shelves: giveaways

I really enjoyed this one, and have loved everything I have read so far by this author. Her writing makes me want to be right in the scene with the characters, eating gelato and enjoying the season. I felt all the feels when Iris talked about how much she missed her mom and loved the chemistry between her and Gio. Recommend this one!
