This book was OK, it could have been shorter. There was so much unnecessary information and the beginning was so slow. Not sure how I feel about the ending. Definitely did not guess who the killer was , so that was something, also wouldn't have guessed the motive. It was something completely different to what was discussed 90% of the time on the book.

When i first got this book it was because I figured it’s a murder mystery my favorite. About a women Junebug who goes back home to try to reunite with her teenage daughter Willa who her family was raising. But she has to come to grips with her past and the murders of her neighbors the Murphy, knowing her brother Jonathan was innocent though everyone in Jericho, Idaho thought he was guilty. Didn't take long to decide to not finish this. Two poisoned animals within the first 100 pages, slow character development, slow plot.
I haven't put a book down before I was finished in YEARS but here we are. I'm honestly even going to remove this authors others from my tbr. Disappointing to say the least. ...more
