This book, through no fault of its own, took me 18 days to read. That is not a note on this book, but rather a note on this review and how scattered I have felt reading it.
This novel jumps between two POVs set just 15ish years apart, but the main character's stories parallel each other so beautifully. It was honestly a masterclass in emotion - I felt everything while reading this novel.
