Wow, talk about a seriously messed up, dysfunctional family drama book!! I'm not sure if I would have picked this book up on my own, but it was one of my choices for Book of the Month. And what a great choice it was. I devoured this book and couldn't put it down. I fell in love with Tara and her struggle to set things right in her life. Great story!

While I loved Tracey Lange's, We Are the Brennans, I only moderately liked The Connellys of County Down. For me, it was rather wordy and I found myself skipping over sections just to get to the point. I liked majority of the characters and of course, I always love a good family drama (as long as it's not my own). I did like the reference of the Brennans in the story but I won't spoil it for those who have yet to read it. Nothing huge but a nice surprise. A solid three stars for this one.
