This was a perfect summer beach read. It's not a romance. It's not a thriller. I despise the idea of "women's fiction" because what does that even mean?

The characters are compelling and I enjoyed following their adventures and growth.

Thank you to NetGalley and Little, Brown and Company for the ARC.

My first Elin Hilderbrand book and it did not disappoint. I enjoyed most of the characters and the community of staff and guests that made up The Hotel Nantucket. I even didn't mind the supernatural touch, which is not my jam but was handled really well. ...more

Now I REALLY want to go to Nantucket. I loved the Blue Book at the end. Fun story! I love a non-scary ghost story. It was fairly minor to the plot, but also was a good part of the book. Love Elin's beach reads! ...more
