Elin Hilderbrand just epitomizes fun, entertaining summer beach reads to me—-and this one didn’t disappoint! Even on vacation with 17 people, I found myself sneaking away to keep reading. While it doesn’t have any stirring prose and the storylines all wrap up a bit too neatly, I really enjoyed the whole reading experience. Hilderbrand vividly illustrates both the hotel and the other attractions of Nantucket to make them come alive as an integral part of the story and creates intriguing flawed ch

This was a perfect summer beach read. It's not a romance. It's not a thriller. I despise the idea of "women's fiction" because what does that even mean?
The characters are compelling and I enjoyed following their adventures and growth.
