Wonderfully written. It's more of a character building novel so if you're looking for action and direct, this is not it. It's definitely a slow burn type of book and very detailed about logging. I really enjoyed this book and it's been awhile since a book made me sob. Very heavy themes in this book but if you are looking for a book to make you sit down and just think about life, love, family, friendship, and environmental issues I would recommend this book.
