Bri Jackson is witty, quick with her words and smart. The perfect protagonist! She's still a teenager, and has a lot left to learn, but she is surrounded by the very best characters.

This was good. I wasn't as big of a fan of this book as I was of The Hate U Give, but it was still good. Bri, the main character, lives in the same neighborhood as Starr from The Hate U Give. Bri's dream is to become the next best rap artist. Bri needs to deal with some family drama and hardships, mostly due to the color of their skin.
