As far as I’m concerned, you can’t go wrong with his books. He just cracks me up!

I don’t know how I had never heard of David Sedaris before but after repeatedly hearing him mentioned on one of my favorite book podcasts, I downloaded this audio book. I expected some humorous stories based on his bio, but what I found was SO MUCH more. These poignant, often inappropriate, sometimes woeful tales of his family and life made me laugh out loud, get emotional, and immediately add another one of his books to my audio loans.

Thank you, David Sedaris, for making me laugh out loud! I was a little grossed out by the cyst, though. Enjoyed reliving my memories of Emerald Isle, too. A fun read.
