Man, I loved this book! I grabbed the mass market old-school-sized edition from Barnes and Noble and it felt like all the old paperbacks I used to read on lunch breaks, walking down sidewalks, or waiting for friends or Friday night to come.
CJ Tudor has a new "constant reader."

I loved the back-and-forth timeline and every character we encounter along the way. The mystery was perfect and the creepiness was just as good. I already miss picking up my copy to dive in.

Shelves: read-thrillers-horror-mystery-crime

I did enjoy this one, but there was just too much going on for my taste. The author incorporated a lot of layers into this book including religion, abortion, Alzheimers, paraplegia, kleptomania, and of course murder (with some other suspicious deaths thrown in). The author made it work in the sense that nothing was too far fetched and it was not too confusing, I would have just preferred fewer central themes.
