I listened to this on audible. The narrator was great, but there were a few times I wasn't sure which character was doing the talking (I wonder if the narrator even got the voices confused a couple of times). The beginning was very graphic. Tudor's writing is excellent, and I think that's why the beginning was so vivid. I almost had to shut it off, and I wondered for a bit if this book was for me. I'm glad I continued. I did NOT have this one figured out at all. Eddie, the narrator of the novel,

I really enjoyed most of the book - it has that IT/Stranger Things atmosphere that is so "in" right now (eye roll 🙄). However, the ending came up a little short for me. You know who the killer is way too soon, and one very disturbing bit of behavior from the main character really doesn't gel with the entire rest of his narrative. Yes, it's a thriller, but come on. Be a little realistic.

This was a fast read where I really didn't want to put it down when I was reading it. It was creepy as well as suspenseful. (view spoiler)

Oh this book started out so good! I was thrilled with the direction it appeared to be going. So thrilled that I couldn’t put it down. I was overjoyed that a hyped book was going to live up to its name and it did - it really did! Unfortunately as the story began to wind up and all was revealed it just fizzled out like bad firecracker. I was left reading the last few chapters feeling as if I had missed something and the disappointment began to set in. And it’s still sitting with me hours after fin

I didn't hate this book, but didn't love it either. It took me a few weeks to finish it, at just 275ish pages, because I just couldn't get into it. There were too many things going on, that were all so unrealistic. The main feeling I had was that this book didn't know what genre to be. First it was a horror, then a mystery, then maybe a mix...it was a mix, but unnecessarily so. So many unneeded details and characters that are unlikeable. But still, it was a good story and plot. I just wish it ha
