Apparently my knowledge of world history is lacking.... I had no idea the French Revolution was so brutal, barbaric and gruesome.
I know "Madame Tussaud" as the famous "wax museum"... I did not know if she was a real person.... Not only was she "real", but the weaving of her life and the horrifying part she played in the revolution as artist, royalist and "patriot" left me aghast.
She truly sacrificed for her family and country.
Amazing.
