I saw David Cronenberg’s movie a lifetime ago. And I really liked it. It was cutting edge, different, made you see life and technology with a different set of eyes.

So, I embarked on this book with high expectations, and maybe that was my problem. the book is… boring. Boring as a traffic jam. It’s descriptions are boring, the author’s usage of vocabulary is boring (there should be a limit to how many times you can use the word “remonstrating”, “forecourt”, etc. Same as I am using the word BORING

I have really enjoyed some J G Ballard novels, like Concrete Island and The Drowned World, however Crash is thoroughly boring......was prepared to be disturbed, but it just bored me to tears with repeated scenes about spunk, vinyl car seats and dirty Jeans...... I am not going to waste my time writing anymore. Basically, wouldn’t recommend it.
