I’m not a huge Snow White fan, but I thought the cover on this one was pretty and I enjoyed another book from this author so I was looking forward to reading this one. I enjoyed the overall story. Again, I’m not a big fan of this fairy tale, but I liked what the author did with it. She did make it her own, while still sticking to the original. Such a sweet retelling of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. I am always a sucker for a fairy tale, always.
I actually give this one 4.5 stars because it was a great book and I enjoyed reading it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I still LOVE The Healer's Apprentice so much more and couldn't give this book the same rating that I gave Healer's Apprentice. I enjoy this author. She changes the story lines so you can see that it's still the fairytale you know and love but it's different enough that you're unsure of how everything will pan out.
