**3.5 stars** is what I gave this book the first time I read it, but the second time made me realize just how much I loved it, and now I don't know why I didn't give it 5 stars to begin with.

At first, it was a little slow going for me and I wasn't sure if I would able to finish it. But it gradually picks up pace the farther in you get. I loved the characters, and I think that the cover is really pretty. Definitely give this book a try!

I'm not exactly sure what to think about this book. I really enjoyed the first 2/3 of the book. Even though I knew what was going to happen, it was fun to see how the characters got there. But then, I felt like the book was hijacked and it became all about demons and commanding them to leave. I thought it would have been much better without all of that. It was just weird. ...more
