I really liked this version of the Cinderella story. I love that the father is still alive...even though he is a deadbeat. And, I really love the way she delt with the stepmother and stepsisters. It kept my interest because I wasn't exactly sure what would happen. Some of it was predictable, but there was enough different to make it fun to read.

I love fairy tales, and I really liked the story in this one. The magic weather stuff was weird though. Could have just told the story with no magic involved. I liked how the characters were twisted, so you end up liking characters you usually dislike and vice versa. Super fast, easy read.
