A strong, kiss ass girl; a duke; murder and mystery; a convent full of bad ass nuns, are the reasons I really liked this book!
Ismae is forced into an arranged marriage by her father. Her husband is very abusive and with the help of a monk, she escapes to the convent of St. Mortain where she serves the god of Death as an assassin. Great book!
