I really enjoyed this and it actually made me laugh out loud. I loved the voice and it seemed to me a very accurate portrayal of a teenage boy. However, I give it four stars instead of five because I'm not quite sure it's the kind of book that will stick with me forever...it wasn't full of amazing insights or prose. It's raunchily funny and harsh and it's gritty an ...more

I wanted to love this book.. But the narrator felt too Holden-esque for me and I feel like it tried too hard to be against the normal vein of what's happening in the YA atmosphere lately.. Not that it's not a good thing but I couldn't really buy into the narrator. I'm going to hand it to Jon to read and see how he feels about it from a male perspective. Definitely feels like a book that's going to polarize people one way or another. ...more
