Great book! I was sucked in from the first page. An exciting story and a compelling main character. I love Jacky's voice; it's very strong. I finished it this morning and today I got the sequel out of the library! :D yaay

I really liked this book. It was part historical fiction, part romance, and with a sprinkle of adventure. The protagonist was a wonderful character and a great role model for young women. I listened to it on audio and the narrator was excellent. I will definitley be checking out the rest of the series and highly recommend the audiobooks to any that are considering reading this one.
What a fun book. Took me a little bit to get into. Especially with the way she spoke at first. Kind of hard to read. Reading others reviews, I'm thinking I should have listened to the audio book to get the full effect. So glad there are 8 books in this series, so I don't have to run out anytime soon!

I loved this audio book! It took a second to adjust to the language but I really recommend this!
