I read this book back in 2012, and I didn't even jot down notes about this book. But my co-worker, who just finished TFIOS, asked me what she should read next, and then I remembered this book!
The novel was an emotional read for me. It is beautiful and poetic, and I couldn't get over it for days when I finished reading it. Joe Fontaine is such a beautiful character, and I think he's up to par with Augustus Waters. (Don't shoot me, that's just my opinion!)
