Awesome, awesome book. O.S. Card is one hell of a writer. Many philosophical stuff to learn from this book, many tears to shed, many things to think about. Thank you to Card for his excellent storytelling and writing. I love it to bits! I just don't know if I have the courage to read the sequels. I want to keep this wonderful memory as it is. LOL.

I have mixed feelings about this book. I like the premise and the games in zero gravity. But I really dislike the cruelty done to little boys and girls. They start at age 6 which is something I have a hard time making sense of.
Maybe if they were teens, it would have been easier. I get why the movie version had young teens rather than 6 year olds.

This rounds book was an interesting choice my hubby actually picked it out. Well the movie is right around the corner and six months ago I was like I should read that. The story is about Ender who is six when he has his monitor a device attached to his back that watches everything. He’s unlike most kids because he’s the third child when everyone is permitted to only have two. When his brother was too aggressive for the program they attempted with a girl but she was just too nice so they hoped th

I liked this novel a lot more than I thought I would! I was worried it may be over-hyped and it does have some pretty bad reviews but I just clicked with it in every way. I loved Ender and all his crazy emotions. He felt real to me...maybe not the age he was suppose to be but a young kid nevertheless. The worldbuilding was spot on, even though I had some trouble picturing the battle stations when Ender first arrived. But the game world that Ender played with the giant and wolf/children was aweso

I really liked this book up until the end. Not sure why I don't like the ending.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to read this book, as I kept hearing about the authour and how I seem to dissagree with him im everything. But people kept talking about the book, so I decided to give it a chance. And I'm glad I did, as this is some of the best science fiction I have read in a long time, perhaps ever.

Well first of all now I am ready to see the movie. I didn't read this so I could see the movie but he timing is so close if I see it in theaters I can tell what happens. I liked the book. It was short an easy ready. But in those short chapters so much was there. It was a good book. Unsure why it took a movie to get me to read this book. After all I have read two of this author's books before but nothing in this series. I am unsure if I will read more of the series. I feel this first book was eno
