I loved this book, maybe a tenth of a star less than Harry Potter and Chaos Walking! It's the kind of book that, after I had finished it, I couldn't sleep for thinking about it. And I may have to go read it again now just to make sure that I got everything, now that I know what I didn't know at the beginning of the book.

About time I got around to reading this, and I can see why it was such an influential and sometimes controversial book. I'm tempted not to read any of the following books though, because this one stands well on its own. It's a toss up whether it's a 4 or a 5.
