Shelves: own, surprised-me, 4-stars

My review:
Simply put, this book was an epic of the likes of Harry Potter. I know how much I risk by making such a comparison. It was honestly very different from the other novels I read recently and it was refreshing. Now, why HP you may ask? Well, it's an adventure, an epic. And that's what it focuses on. The romance really takes a backseat but it's still there and obvious. Every character is fleshed out perfectly. I can almost believe they were actually living in this world.

I had decided years ago I would not read this. But since publishing fanfiction is becoming a bigger problem I feel the need to shelf it as such. Sometimes I have a problem of keeping my opinions to myself to avoid conflict, especially regarding shady issues such as this series.

A book that I cannot get enough of! I read the first page and I WAS HOOKED! Honestly I think its better than Twilight! As Stephenie Myer said "A World I love To Live In" BTW didn't the twist at the end of this book SHOCK YOU SHITLESS!! I swear I never expected that, I started crying because of it!! I love this book and I recommend everyone in high school to read this! =)) ...more
