I loved this book! The world that Kristin Cashore created is amazing, and the added map at the beginning was a nice touch. I loved the characters. The plot was amazing. I loved everything about this book. I was hooked from the very beginning and never grew tired of reading this book. In fact, I could not put it down!

The main character, Katsa is a strong woman from the very beginning. I love that she thinks for herself even when her uncle, the king, seems to control her. I am so glad she broke f

Loved this book. I thought Cashore did a great job creating a world that was realistic and fantastical all at the same time. Loved the main charecter Katsa and all her relationships, especially with Po. I love how Katsa grew throughout the story- it was really a well written book.

I think I'm in love w/ Katsa. Hehehehe. Cashore makes sure that even though what she've written was fantasy, some aspects was so close to reality that you could imagine the world she have woven beleivable. The description of the place was so vivid and the character build up was so good. I would recommend it to those who like action packed fantasy but there's a bit of mushy parts too so beware. hehehehe ...more

I really liked this one. I listened to it on audio and it was different from most audiobooks because it had music and multiple actors, but once I got used to it, I liked it. Anyway, I thought this book was really well written and I felt part of Katsa's world. I liked that it had humor, action, and a love story that was actually believable. On top of that, I have a slight crush on Po, which also helped my rating. ...more
