I'm not exactly thrilled to be writing this review. Books 1 and 2 were so good...and then there was book 3. Mockingjay.

Mockingjay is the third and final book in the Hunger Games trilogy. Once again, as I set out to read it (just as I did when I set out to read Catching Fire), I had expectations of what could not be accomplished with the story. I have to start off with the fact that this series was amazing and it kept me on total edge the whole time. Collins is an extremely gifted author with an amazing imagination. I can only imagine that writing Dystopian can be extremely difficult when you have to make up a whole new way of life and then describe it in words.

As for why I gave it a 4 and not a 5 like the first two books: I felt like I lost a lot of who Katniss was in this book. She seemed a lot more wishy washy. The ending was prett ...more

Weird ending does anyone know how Kat's sister Prim gets to where she is at the end of the book. It is a sad ending as well since she dies. I liked the first 2 books better and can't wait to see the movie for the first book.
