Before re-reading Catching Fire, I forgot how much I loved it! I do not know how she does it, but Suzanne Collins has done it again. It is as good if not better than the first book, The Hunger Games. This series is extremely addictive. I could not put done this book even though I have read it before and know what is going to happen. With all of the action, it is such an exciting book. No wonder it was a quick read.

After the cliffhanger ending of The Hunger Games, I dove right into reading this. It was just as exciting as its predecessor with all the twists.
It seemed though that it was just one bad thing after another for Katniss and her friends, and by the end of the book, I was feeling depressed and couldn't get the story out of my head.

I am rereading this because the third in the series is out soon. So glad I decided to read it again amazing how much you miss the first time.
So glad I re-read this because the first time I did not read the cliff hanger right so would have been confused. When you read a book that keeps you at the edge of your seat you miss things. So reading for second time it's more enjoyable at least for me. ...more

Really good. I liked Hunger Games better. This book didn't seem to stand alone, which is something I look for in a book, even in a sequel. If I hadn't read the first one, I would have been very lost. But still, an amazing book full of twists and turns and interesting characters.
