The Catching Fire.
I'm going to break this review up in sections. Cause, that's the only way I can think right now. This is also going to be a little ignornat of a review since I have only read the 2nd. These are thoughts that I had throughout the book.
5 Reasons why I don't like this book.
1) Wished I did not have a preconcieved notion on what the characters looked like. Not the books

First and for most I have to tell you that the synopsis does not do justice for this book. When I first read the synopsis I could not figure out why everyone was ranting and raving about these books. One of my friends would ask me every time I saw her if I read them yet. I would tell her no not yet but I will very soon. I am so sad that I waited so long!!!

What a breath-taking sequel. I'm sure most of you have read this book already, so no need for a long review, and I do think that most of you will agree with me that this is just a clever and riveting book as The Hunger Games.
Katniss, as usual was all I would ever want for a heroin, she's just as courageous as ever. I grew loving this girl. I mean she's high-spirited person, flawed but that makes her perfect doesn't it? I admire her for swearing to protect Peeta in the Arena, his life for hers. H ...more

When I reviewed The Hunger Games I likened it to the Tomorrow Series by John Marsden which is one of my all time favorite book series. Reading this second book in The Hunger Games trilogy I still feel the same way.

It is official! I blew my book budget for the month! I finished Catching Fire and I have to say book 2 was as thrilling as The Hunger Games!
The ending I truly didn't see coming. I kept trying to guess as to how the author was going to venture into a third novel now, I know!
I am looking forward to starting Mockingjay as soon as possible. I have heard mixed reviews about others feelings about this ending novel but I want to see for myself how I will feel.

I just finished rereading this for I think the fourth or fifth time... However, it's probably been four or five years since I've reread any of the books in this series.
