I am truly glad I read this novel. Though the subject matter was distressing I found myself rooting for Katniss and Peeta in more then one way or the other!

The author wrote a novel that I literally could not put down and each and every page I turned kept me on pins and needles!

This proves you should never judge a book by it's cover - no pun intended. I found this book lying around at work and never would have picked it up, normally, but I was so uber bored one evening that I decided to read the first chapter. That's all it took. My favorite book by far. Harry Potter doesn´t even compare. This book has real emotion (in the Games and the romance). Unlike Harry Potter, I jumped, screamed and almost cried while reading it. The emotions in this book get to you so much that I felt absolutely stupid when I had to hold the tears and after I yelled for Peeta´s and Katniss´s life. I adored it. Imagine Big Brother or any reality show (Survivor etc etc) but instead of getting nominated, voted out or evicted, you get killed. Then basically the last man standing wins.

I don't really want to spoil. I may write a proper review (like that's even possible) after I finish the whole trilogy.
