Enjoyed it! Not the typical vampire book. I love the social classifications: Moroi, dhampirs, strigoi. Strong characters too. Also admire how it narrates.

Rose got on my nerves. Seriously. She's immature (even for a teenager), annoying (to me anyways), and well, quite frankly, she's slutty. There, I said it. I think she's egotistical to a fault. Shall I go on? I just can't get into a series when I don't like the main character. Period. ...more
