What Members Thought
First Western I’ve read and probably not the last. Likely the most entertaining book I’ve come across in a while, but I felt as if something small was missing. Maybe it’s the prose or general themes/ideas not explored enough? Still recommend this to all as the characters are so memorable and nuanced.
I almost gave up around 300 pages. I’m so glad I didn’t. Such a powerful story. I’ll think of this story and these characters often—the true mark of what makes a great novel, to me.
