What Members Thought

After I finished The Stand, I could only wonder why my friends recommended it. I remember thinking how sci fi stories handled apocalyptic scenarios better, and how the better King stories I’d read were focused on a creature or phenomena.
This one rambles and rambles and rambles. Then rambles some more. But it doesn’t ramble quite as randomly as It does, so I give The Stand one additional star.

Felt wrong giving this anything less than 5 stars. I spent so much time with this massive cast of characters, which made the twists and turns difficult to accept at times. God bless Tom Cullen, Frannie Goldsmith, and Stu Redman. Some of my favorite literary characters of all time!!
