If you know me or follow my goodreads you know that I am usually a huge fan of Russian doorstoppers. This is an exception. Anna Karenina took me 2 months to finish — which is insanely long for my pace but I did take over a one month break with exams, Christmas, and moving to the other side of the globe.

I come back to this book often! What a fabulous book that reminds me that though times change the inner struggles of humans change less from generation to generation. I am comforted by this thought
