One of the most hauntingly beautiful novels I’ve ever read. It was hard to put it down, but almost in the worst way. Tragedy is spread all across the pages, nearly every chapter. I loved it, but it would be hard for me to ever recommend this book to anyone because of how constantly dark and saddening it is. You need to be in a certain headspace to read and/or truly appreciate the novel. One of the best books I’ve ever read, I look forward to reading it again once the time comes.
A Compelling and emotional read. This book comes with TW for abuse/self-harm/suicide. All that aside, you feel you really connect to the characters. Jude is a brilliant but Troubled soul - this story will stay with me for a long time
I think playing golf is less boring than this.
