Well, the one star basically says it all for me. I started this book years ago and got about halfway through when my gag reflex took over and I just couldn't go on. It was chosen by one of my book groups as a summer read for 2014, so I decided to hunker down and finish it over the weekend. It was just as bad, if not worse, this time around. Talk about a lot of hype over nothing of a book! So disappointed. Loved the premise for the book and really wanted to love it but honestly cut at least half to sex scenes (especially the disturbingly rapey ones that are written like its all ok or enjoyable), take out about three hundred pages and add in a lot more plot and we can talk about something readable.
