What Members Thought
How is this by the same woman who did Emerald Fire? The tone, pace and style of character development couldn't be more different. Where Emerald Fire had a sympathetic, sensitive heroine, Adrienne is so detached, self-absorbed and delusional that no relationship or social interaction meant anything. The supporting cast is full of assholes who aren't even three dimensional, interesting assholes. They just exist to victimize Adrienne and validate her distress and self-pity.
