I've postponed this review for ages because I HATE THIS BOOK. (There, see? My annoyance is strong enough that emphatic capslock spilled from my fingertips. Shame on you, French Passion.)
The sad thing is that I shouldn't have hated it so much. Some of the descriptions were well-done, & the author's research was interwoven into the plot with vivid details.
