This book is a hard one to rate. I will argue with the fact it is listed under teen reads, especially with subject matter and some adult context. It is more for young adults and older adults who are more aware and ready to deal with the issues it addresses.
The book is good and reads well, but I do feel asxothers that the characters were not developed all that well and made for a rather difficult understanding about them and the drama that insues.

One of the best books I've read in a long time. Certainly the best YA novel I've read in a year or more. Unlike many books I've read lately, this is one I'll never forget. I'm so happy John Green has written more novels!!
