I was so disappointed by this book I couldn't even finish it. I love Meg Cabot's other writing and was hooked on the Heather Wells series. So when I saw that she had tried her hand at fantasy I was so excited but I hated it. The story is slow and cliched. Meena is so confusing one minute a weak little girlie who is crying out for help the next a strong person pushing people away which just annoyed the hell out of me. She is one of my inspirations for writing Teen Fiction and I love most of her books, but not this one. I honestly don't know what happened. I was so excited to read her new series, that I bought the first and second novel thinking, "This is going to be awesome!" But no, she disappointed me so much with this text that the sequel is sitting on my bookshelf collecting dust.

Not bad, but a little disappointed in ending. Seemed to be a typical vampire falls in love with human book with a twist. Was good and fairly fast read.
