I wrote it, and I like it. :)
High elf Caliphany (Cali) Aranea wants different life from the one her father Mage Sirius Aranea has in mind. Caliphany has magic at times quite uncontrolled by her much to her father's dismay. Caliphany wants to see the world around and explore. Down at the docks Caliphany dreams of another life other than the one she has where she's nearly kidnapped but she's rescued by half elf named Galadin Trudeaux.
