So I really enjoy all of Theodora Goss's short stories I've read; I think she's a wonderful writer. There's nothing wrong with the writing in this novella, I just don't like such straight forward romances. I kept feeling like I was in a Nicholas Sparks novel, just better written with arthurian legends thrown in, which, admittedly, does make it better than your average romance. Also, this book needs a binding. I dropped it so many times! Beautiful illustrations though.

Okay okay I 'll admit it. What drew me to this book was not the plot but the way the book was package. I know I know I should be ashamed
:-) . This book is packaged in a box and you pull the book out like an accordion. On one side their is Evelyn Morgan side of the events and the other side is Brendan Thorne description of the events. Not nearly as deep as I was hoping.
The format and premise are really promising... but while a decent book, it just doesn't quite live up to that promise.

I am a huge fan of Goss' work in general, and this is no exception.
