This is a story about witches! The book has some definite Practical Magic vibes for sure (movie, not book), but since that is one of my all-time favorite movies I was fully on board and I couldn't be more delighted because witches are also one of my favorite things. But, it is also about so much more. It is about love, and hate, and sacrifice, and learning to let go of your demons. I knew that The Once And Future Witches by Alix E. Harrow wasn't being released until October 2020, but I also knew that I had to read it ASAP as soon as I was approved for a digital ARC from Net Galley. I wasn't the only one apparently. There are currently a hundred ratings on Goodreads.
