What Members Thought
I am a fan of Lackey's Valdemar books, but this was the first I'd read of her other fantasy novels. If you enjoy fairy tale retellings, this is an entertaining read as Lackey really makes this version of Snow White very much her own, and it is easy to forget that you are reading revisionist lit here. I am looking forward to reading her take on other fairy tales in the rest of the Elemental Masters series.

My first Mercedes Lackey book was a win!! I really enjoyed it! I forgot it was a Snow White retelling when I started reading but I realized it eventually and I thought she did a good job weaving in those elements. I liked the characters a lot and all in all found this book really enjoyable.
