I loved the ways in which the many stories in this unique novel were all strands in a woven tapestry. Stories woven into stories woven into stories. This book grabs you by the hand and gently pulls you into a magical world that is more disturbing and dangerous than one would expect. Then all of a sudden you realize that it has let go of your hand and is now caressing your throat, ready to pull you in deeper. Perhaps you will drown.
